‘I had always dreamed of living in Paris - it’s the perfect mix of culture and modernity in the heart of Europe. Pop culture often says that Paris as a city is overrated. After living there for a semester, I can definitely claim it lives up to its expectations, if not exceeds them.

Exchange was a very holistic exposure in more ways than living in a new city. It was an opportunity to go out of my comfort zone not only geographically - but also intellectually. It exposed me to new perspectives, expanded my belief system, taught me about different cultures and made me experience new and old traditions. Studying Finance at HEC Paris was an incredible experience due to the talented student cohort, their professors and understanding a new way of learning. I also explored to Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon and Lyon during semester breaks. 

This experience taught me how to be a better student - not just academically, but a better student of life. I learnt how to go out of my comfort zone, made life-long friendships across the globe and saw new ways of analysing old problems. It was truly a dream-come-true!’
