“I have joined the Chengshun Asset Management Co. Ltd for around 3 months. I worked in the post-investment management department. I was mainly responsible for carrying out and organizing the management of equity, projects in the company, prejudging the risks in the investment decision-making stage of the project, and provide the risk solutions in the operation process. In addition, providing analysis and due diligence report for potential projects.

This internship provided me an opportunity to get close with several project managements, which enable me to improve the ability of quickly getting familiar with an industry, apply knowledge from campus courses to financial data analysis in reality, and get to know more use of legal knowledge.

Moreover, I was able to attain different meetings, having more chances to contact diversified tasks. I learned for the first time the process and details of the initiation of a real estate development investment project in the Mainland. Besides, I was fortunate to be given a lot of trust in participating in matters related to the operation of companies and departments, which gave me more opportunity to understand the operation of the financial structure, and the importance of initiatively discovering risk in the post-investment management of state-owned enterprises.

After the internship, I deepened my understanding of middle and back-office work. This will be of assistance to my self-understanding, the direction of future career development, and the skills that I should work hard and acquire in the near future.”
