‘I have taken a gap year to join UBS as an off-cycle Global Markets intern, which is one of my highlights during my university journey.

During that time, I worked under the Prime Relationship Management team, where I learnt a lot about prime brokerage through handling daily tasks. This also honed my programming skills as I also have created some automations for them.

I also took the opportunity to connect with other teams to understand Global Markets better as a whole. Through badminton trainings and volunteering events, I have also learned more about my peers after work. I am more than grateful for having this opportunity to spend a year with UBS.

From its curriculum to their career support, GLEF put students in a well-placed position to explore the interests and pursue a career in the financial industry. And I am thankful for the support that GLEF offers during my undergraduate journey.’
