“During the summer in 2018, I Interned at Green Court Capital Management in the Investment team for 10 weeks. Green Court is an investment management company with AUM of 5.6 billion U.S. dollars as of December 31, 2018. During my internship, I conducted research projects under the supervision of senior research analysts, performed fundamental analysis on industries and public companies, drafted investment memos, and presented my research results to portfolio managers. 

The internship was a great opportunity for me to get insights into buy-side equity research jobs. One of the most valuable takeaways from my internship is clear long-term and short-term career goals. During the internship, I got the opportunity to talk with everyone in the company including portfolio managers and senior research analysts. They generously shared their inspiring personal experiences in the investment management industry with me, answered all my questions about career choices, and gave me very insightful advice. 

In addition, I enhanced my professional skills such as critical thinking, analytical ability, and communication skills by conducting different research projects. I also made many friends with my colleagues. My colleagues celebrate my birthday with me during the internship. We keep in contact after the end of the internship. I sincerely thank everyone I met at Green Court during this internship and I believe Green Court is a very great company for fresh graduates to work for.”
