‘I have joined Deutsche Bank as an investment banking summer analyst in 2022 summer. 

During the internship, I was allocated to Diversified Industries Group, which facilitates companies in healthcare, consumer and industrials sector to raise fundings or undergo M&A activities. It was a fruitful experience to me as I got a lot of opportunites to participate in live pitches and live deals which help me to gain deeper understanding of the industry and the whole capital market. I also met a lot of seniors and colleagues who are very willing to share their experiences and technical knowledge to juniors. Although the job requires a very long working hour, I am still grateful to have the chance to create value for different companies and facilitate them to grow from a financing perspective.

The program has helped me a lot in connecting alumnus working in the industry as well. Having a common point such as studying the same major really makes networking easier and I have learnt deep insights from the alumnus. In addition, the design of the program, integrating economics and finance courses, really facilitate me to think from both economics and financial perspective when exploring different opportunities.’
