“During the summer of 2020, I jointed investment banking division at Citi as a summer analyst and supported bankers’ with originating various M&A transactions and IPO activities. My internship experience at Citi was extremely fruitful and learnt lots of lessons that I could not at other investment banks. I mainly participated in two M&A transactions: Advised SK Hynix, one of the top semiconductor manufacturers in the world, for the acquisition of Intel Corporation’s NAND Business and advised domestic private equity for the sale of minority stake in domestic financial holding company. Transaction of SK Hynix was the biggest ever M&A transaction in Korea with $10 billion transaction value and I was glorious to participate in this notable transaction.
