‘In the summer of 2022, I joined Citadel Securities for 13 weeks, working as a Trading Intern under the Options Market Making team. As a trading intern, I underwent intensive training covering Financial Markets, Options Theory, Trading Psychology and even Poker. Besides, I have also completed an intern project under the supervision and guidance of experienced traders. 

This has been a truly fruitful and eye-opening 13 weeks with the team. I have gain invaluable insights of the trading landscape from the lens of a large financial institution like Citadel Securities, which is quite a vast difference from how we see things in a more academic setting. Hence, I would highly recommend everyone to apply for internship in a large financial institution to learn about how practitioners view the market.’
