Lavanya Anthwal (Year 4), formed a cross-disciplinary team with other CUHK students, CuBeta, to join the APRU Global Health Virtual Case Competition 2024.
The challenge of this year is “Improving Diabetes Care Management through Technological Innovation.” The competition teams are asked to create a technology-based solution to improve diabetes care for patients in one economy in the Asia-Pacific.

A team of four high calibre undergraduate students from CUHK Business School recently seized the 2nd runner-up at the Chicago Quantitative Alliance (CQA) 11th Investment Challenge by showcasing their exceptional investment skills in managing a fully invested and dollar-neutral diversified portfolio over five months.
The CQA Investment Challenge is an annual equity portfolio management competition organised by the Chicago Quantitative Alliance.
The team, comprising Jonathan Cheng (Year 2) and his teammates, reflected on their challenging journey.
“Despite lagging behind due to a compliance error, which put us at a significant disadvantage in the final round, we persisted in giving our very best until the end, and the results validated our efforts along the way,” they mentioned.

‘The time-critical nature of a case competition makes prior preparation crucial in setting the team up for success. - Jonathan CHENG

A team of undergraduate students from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School won the championship in the Asian Business Case Competition (ABCC) 2023.
The teams were tasked to devise strategies for propelling Dorsett Hospitality International towards a greener future.
Reflecting on the experience, the team cherished meeting with other high-calibre participants, fostering lifelong friendships along the way.
