‘I joined an 8-week summer internship program at China Minsheng Bank Hong Kong branch. I interned in the Capital Markets Business Department. Being a member of this department, I am glad to shadow relationship managers to know more about their daily routine tasks and assist them in completing various projects and tasks. 

I took part in several meaningful projects and utilized the knowledge I learned from the university by working on real-life cases. Moreover, I learned the internal regulations and standards of the bank when handling and analyzing a lending business. Apart from technical skills, I also honed my soft skills, such as interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills through this valuable experience. 

In addition, I was lucky to expand my professional network by working with many colleagues who have different backgrounds. In short, I would like to show my appreciation to my colleagues and other interns who supported me throughout this fruitful internship.

Lastly, GLEF is a well-structured program that offers me lots of resources and support. For instance, GLEF students have a comprehensive study scheme, career consultation sessions, and internship-sharing sessions. It helps us to prepare for our future career paths. I would like to thank the program for nurturing me to become a potential talent in this industry.’
