“Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, it was extremely hard to find an ideal internship. Luckily, I got this precious internship opportunity to work for Haitong Securities Co., Ltd as an investment banking intern analyst. 

Haitong Securities investment banking department has an excellent comprehensive business platform and a number of projects across different countries and regions. During the internship, I participated in two-month IPO process for a tourism company in a coastal resort city at the southern tip of Hainan island. 

Among all the internships I did, I think this is the most impressive and unforgettable one. I was mainly responsible for the analysis of risk factors and financial situation, authenticity investigation of IPO issuer and prospectus re-examination. More importantly, not only have I gained a lot of practical and soft skills, but I also strengthened my resistance of pressure and the ability to adjust my altitude.

Overall, the opportunity of working in Haitong Securities investment banking department gives me a wonderful real-world working experience, and I would like to express my gratitude to all of my colleagues as well as GLEF Program for their support.”
