‘I worked at Sun Hung Kai Properties as a Summer Intern in the residential leasing team - Signature Homes from Jun to Aug 2020 and subsequently worked as a Part-time Research Assistant for six months. 

During my nine months in the team, I have gained valuable insights into the residential leasing market as well as the real estate industry. Aside from performing business performance analysis and financial analysis which sharpened my analytical capabilities, I have actively engaged in diverse projects which aroused my interest in digitalization and strategic initiatives in business enhancement. This internship experience has provided useful insights for my future career path, I would therefore like to opt for business development and strategic planning roles with concentrations in digitization for my future career development, as I have immersed in these tasks and have thoroughly enjoyed working in these fields. 

This internship not only developed my practical skillsets in the workplace but also nurtured my communication skills and problem-solving abilities. I have learned to present my ideas more clearly and concisely in the workplace, and the adaptability and flexibility I gained from engaging in diverse tasks are surely one of the greatest rewards.

It has been an exciting journey in Sun Hung Kai Properties. I am thankful for the supervision and guidance from the department General Manager, Mr. Sun, and my supervisor, Nelson, who have believed in my abilities and allowed for full autonomy for me to work on tasks with high priorities, and for engaging me in their weekly business meetings. I have developed a stronger sense of business acumen and this internship undoubtedly contributes to my future career development.’
