Lavanya Anthwal (Year 4), formed a cross-disciplinary team with other CUHK students, CuBeta, to join the APRU Global Health Virtual Case Competition 2024. They have made it to the top 10 among a record high of 108 teams from 31 universities in 14 economies.

The challenge of this year is “Improving Diabetes Care Management through Technological Innovation.” The competition teams are asked to create a technology-based solution to improve diabetes care for patients in one economy in the Asia-Pacific. The overall challenge is to address the low rates of adherence to diabetic treatment.
