‘The VCOC challenge provided us with an overview of the venture capital industry and the fundamental analytical skills required in the field. Our team submitted an Investment Memo on Precision Robotics, a startup that has shown great potential in HKSTP. We not only used financial modeling to determine the company's valuation but also consulted with an industry advisor to better understand the field of surgical robots.

Overall, it was a memorable experience that provided us with insights into the rewarding and lucrative profession of venture capitalism, and expanded our social circle through interactions with other competitors and industry experts.’

Venture Capital On Campus (VCOC) - Investment Challenge 2023 is the venture capital (VC) themed function designed for undergraduates and postgraduates from all disciplines in Hong Kong. Co-hosted by Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) and HKSTP Capital, this competition aims to inspire and nurture future venture capitalists via a training bootcamp and an investment case competition.

Awards include fast-track interview opportunities at HKSTP Investment Team.
