Maggie Ng – Deloitte
‘During the summer of 2020, I joined Deloitte, a reputational global professional services provider, as an intern in its Tax and Business Advisory Department.
In the three-month program, I have been mainly assisting Global Employer Services Team and U.S.
On the other hand, soft skills such as communication and time management skills and being proactive are honed in the fast-paced working environment.
Although Deloitte may be a demanding workplace, seniors are all friendly to guide me into the challenging industry such that I can adapt to Deloitte as soon as possible.
MK Eo – Citi
“During the summer of 2020, I jointed investment banking division at Citi as a summer analyst and supported bankers’ with originating various M&A transactions and IPO activities.
I mainly participated in two M&A transactions: Advised SK Hynix, one of the top semiconductor manufacturers in the world, for the acquisition of Intel Corporation’s NAND Business and advised domestic private equity for the sale of minority stake in domestic financial holding company.
I appreciate the team at Citi for giving me a such valuable exposure to various works and help me to expand my work scope.

“I completed a 10-week internship programme in the Digital Payment Team at Standard Chartered Bank in the summer of 2020.
Working in the dynamic environment in the Digital Banking department, I navigated how technologies will disrupt the world of banking and experienced hands-on how digital initiatives are conducted within a bank, which will prepare me for a future career in digital or FinTech.
This internship has served an excellent wrap-up to my university life.
